Hi I want to be able to use a flash drive to get files to my Windows NT4 computer. I haven't found a driver for a PNY Attaché Flash Drive and other flash drive drivers don't work. Windows NT won't detect the flash drive so what do I do?

Thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian,

You certainly CAN use USB removable media storage devices on NT4 (key
drives and REAL hard disk drives)

See http://nt4ref.zcm.com.au/usb.htm for comments and instructions on
this subject. The IONetworks USB stack (which includes removable media
storage drivers) works REALLY well !

The only matter you need to be aware of (included in the info on the web
page) is the file system being used on the USB storage. NT4 cannot (out
of the box) handle FAT32 formatted media. FAT16 and NTFS formatted can
be dealt with directly. For a FAT32 formatted media you can add a FAT32
file system driver to NT4 or alternately, reformat the USB media to NTFS
(if over 2GB in size) or FAT16 (for devices < or = 2GB)
